User Agreement.
The terms for using your character workspace.
01. The agreement and the service
This User Agreement applies to your use of CHARAFOLD, a service for arranging and creating AI-assisted character references. The operator is matt, at [Registered business address]. Contact matt1232024@163.com about this agreement. These details must be completed before launch. By accepting this agreement and using the live service, you enter an agreement with that operator.
02. Your email account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter an agreement. Sign in with an email address you control. A first verified sign-in creates an account after you accept this agreement. Keep access to your email secure; do not share verification codes, impersonate another person, or provide a misleading identity. You are responsible for activity you authorize in your account.
03. Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you hold in uploaded artwork, photographs, prompts, and character descriptions. You must have the rights and permissions necessary for us and our processors to handle that material and create the requested outputs. This includes necessary permissions from people shown in photographs. Do not submit content that infringes someone else’s copyright, privacy, image rights or other rights.
04. Permission to process your content
You grant the operator a limited permission to host, store, reproduce, transmit to contracted processors, and transform your submitted content solely as needed to perform your requests, maintain your workspace, provide support, and secure the service. This does not transfer ownership of your underlying work. Public showcase or promotional use requires separate permission.
05. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful content, harassment, exploitation, deception, non-consensual sexual material, unauthorized impersonation, or infringement. Do not attempt to bypass safeguards, access another person’s workspace, misuse authentication, automate abuse, or disrupt the service. We may reject a request, remove prohibited material, or restrict an account when reasonably needed to protect the service or comply with law.
06. AI output and creative review
AI outputs can vary, contain errors, or resemble other material. An exact match across every angle, expression or external tool is not guaranteed. Review the face, outfit, proportions and accessories before using an output. You are responsible for deciding whether a file is suitable for your intended use and for checking applicable rights. Commercial use is subject to the rights you hold and the terms of the selected AI provider; we do not promise copyright ownership or exclusivity in every jurisdiction.
07. Packs, refinements and charges
A character pack covers the set described before generation begins. Included refinements and any separately purchased allowance are shown in the workspace. The purchase price, currency, applicable tax and total will be displayed at checkout. The current proposed bundles are one-time purchases, without automatic renewal. Unused purchased packs have no service-imposed expiry while the service remains available, subject to any legally required treatment of unused balances.
08. Failed requests, cancellations and refunds
A technical failure returns the relevant allowance; a failed individual image can be retried without using an included refinement. Artistic dissatisfaction does not by itself establish a technical failure, but you may use the available review and refinement tools. Contact support for billing errors or refund requests. Statutory rights, including any applicable consumer remedies or withdrawal rights, are not excluded. Any consent required before immediately supplying digital content will be obtained separately at checkout.
09. Payments and third-party services
Cloudflare supplies hosting and storage, Resend delivers verification emails, and OpenAI processes image generation and refinement requests. Interruptions at these providers may delay tasks. Purchases are currently unavailable. Any payment provider and applicable checkout terms will be identified before purchases open.
10. Service changes and account restrictions
We may improve, change or discontinue features. We will communicate material changes that affect paid use where reasonable and address unused allowances as required by law. An account may be restricted for a material breach, suspected abuse or a legal obligation. You may contact support to ask for a review of a restriction.
11. Ending your account
You can request deletion in Privacy & files. Export files you want to keep first. Deletion removes access to the workspace and is not a request for a payment refund. We may retain limited records required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Responsibility and mandatory rights
The service is provided with reasonable care under applicable law. To the extent the law permits, we do not promise uninterrupted availability, an exact AI result or fitness for every use. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer or data protection rights. Any additional liability limits must be finalized for the operating entity and applicable markets before launch.
13. Governing law and disputes
The governing law and primary dispute forum are [Governing jurisdiction and forum], to be completed for the operating entity. Mandatory protections in your country of residence remain applicable where the law requires them. Contact support first so we can try to resolve a problem. This pre-launch draft does not introduce mandatory arbitration or waive statutory remedies.
14. Agreement updates and contact
We may revise this agreement to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. Material changes will be communicated when appropriate. 15. Download your images within 24 hours
CharaFold is temporary image storage, not a backup service. Uploaded references and generated images expire 24 hours after each file is saved. Download your images within that period. Expired images cannot be recovered through CharaFold.
